I associate myself with an exquisite woman that was described as a ‘femme fatale’- one would suggest it’s an undesirable quality, another finds it overwhelmingly flattering.
Personally, I do agree with him. She is everything defined above and more. The question is, what about her that is so captivating for him? Why and how does she fit into his concept of seductive, attractive, and disastrous?
Confidently enough, I’d say it’s her aura, character, perception, traits, and most importantly the strenuous silent dialogue. It becomes irresistible, irreplaceable and eventually undefined.
Alicia keys sings ‘concrete jungle where dreams are made of, there’s nothing you can’t do’. Usually, I sing along with her quietly, because truth is, I’ve been told that the loud version is an unpleasant one- w h a t e v e r. But I’m here now, and I //be like// walking the streets singing at the top of my lungs, ’cause I can, and who’s to stop me?
I’ve seen various cities of the world, but none as bright as New York. In my humble opinion, Time Square in particular is a mix between a utopia and a despotic world. It’s bright as the moon but has a strange sense of struggle. Needless to say, Fifth and Seventh avenue is a woman’s dream. Luxurious, accessible, and high fashion baby!
But that’s not what it’s all about. New York has a feel of freedom and variation, with a character one similar to London in conjunction with the dysfunction of Berlin. It has a time and place for everybody, so it can do you no wrong.
As for now, there’s not much left to say, so Jay- Z, take it away…..
