The district of Little Italy downtown in New York city is edgy, quirky and super cute. Based on a local recommendation, my travel buddy and I made an executive decision to eat at ‘Cafe Habana’, a feel of Cuba blended with a touch of Mexico. The corn solidified our decision – it was the right one. And what a better way to end a meal with the signature chocolate cake from the ‘Little Cupcake Bakeshop’.
The narrow streets of NoLita reflect modern history and culture. From the pop up art shops, trendy cafes, custom jewellery & designs as well as the mini local fashion boutiques, it has a touch of love.
Subsequently, one must experience the effect of when the “crowd must go wild” as reported by the New York Times with a broadway show from the Jersey Boys, oh what a night!
