History is defined as the lore of human behaviour through time; therefore, to appreciate the present you must understand the past. One-hour train ride from Geneva, Switzerland and in the town of Montreux is the Chillon Castle, a historical monument, and one that must be visited.

Surrounded by the sea and detailed with painted walls, stove tiles, glassware, art, and many more architectural remains the Castle is a maze itself, it’s fit for a game of hide and seek.

It is pictures that can capture the minor detail but to get the full experience it must be seen by the naked eye. Just for now though check out the arts page, does it do it justice you ask?
Probably not.
