Flying with Norah Jones

Written on the two hundredth and sixty second day of the year, on the way to Dubai, flying at an altitude of just over forty thousand feet, I find nothing more therapeutic than the voice of Norah Jones.

The ‘Come away with me’ album is magical, one described as a ‘soft blend of jazz, soul and country’. She’s a storyteller, a dreamer, and a unique artist unlike any other.

Having won eight Grammy awards in 2003 and over eighteen million copies sold it’s not a gamble to presume that this could be one of the greatest albums produced.

I could describe each song in detail but my priorities have suddenly shifted as breakfast is about to be served and more importantly Arial is just about to meet Eric for the first time on screen.

… That was then, now is a different story, but that’s for another day to tell!
