This incredible film showcases the moment that two blind sisters are able to see for the first time. Lucky enough they were given a life changing opportunity to undergo a miracle surgery to fix their vision after being completely blind since birth.
Highlighted in this short segment is the notion of misfortune, heartbreak, and suffering of communities in developing countries. For someone to feel so helpless is too difficult for most to fathom; and for this particular reason the strength, optimism and hope exemplified is one to be admired.
The doctor mentions that you need more of a heart than your head for doing service for children. I will challenge him on this point and say that I believe you need all your heart and all your head for doing anything for anybody. At times we take our lives for granted but in reality we have more than what we often deserve.
